Our story
A family business grown ring by ring
We started in 2002 working gardens on the edge of Grenoside Woods. Two decades on we're a small, fully qualified crew looking after trees across Sheffield and the surrounding villages - still family-run, still answering the phone ourselves.
The crew
Who you'll meet on site

Charles Pass
Bossman, climber and everything in-between
Known to most as Chaz, he's the friendly voice on the phone and the one who'll come out to quote your job. He's been working with trees since he was 15, learning the trade alongside his father Ian and brother Fred. When he's not up a tree, you'll find him flying his pet owl or out running with his cocker spaniel, Winnie.

Fred Pass
Senior climber
Charles' older brother and in the business since the early days. Fred is an arborist with 17 years of hands-on experience in tree care, grounds maintenance, and landscaping, gained across the UK, New Zealand, and Europe. Raised in the family trade, he brings genuine care and craftsmanship to every green space he works on.
